The church has just been denounced in the strongest possible terms in the Australian parliament. Prime minister Kevin Rudd has expressed his concern over allegations of "a worldwide pattern of abuse and criminality" and is contemplating a parliamentary inquiry. The organisation is under police investigation and yesterday angry ex-Scientologists, spurred on by the claims, converged on its Australian headquarters calling for its tax-exempt status to be revoked.

The Catholic church is next.

If only....

I have no desire to destroy entire communities, but religious organisations need to have their house checked every now and then.

As this is only about Scientology I will only make mention of Scientology and no other "religion" though scientology is a cult to me.

THANK FREAKING G*D OTHER COUNTRIES ARE WAKING UP!!!!!!!!!

Come on Hollywood morons wake up from your selfish, egotistical cult brainwashed stupor already. Yeah sure Scientology saw you all as cashcows because you donate your money, you divulge all of your secrets to where you will be blackmailed if you try to leave, and then due to your celebrity status the average ordinary citizens will fall into this crap to be like you.

I would so badly LOVE to form a huge protesting march in all countries where this stupid Cult church exists and march upon them.

Like it or not, successful navigation of life requires the ability to perform critical thinking. Its obviously not being taught in our society today. I would no more flock to a "church" because that deluded wackjob Tom Cruise is a member than I would stop eating apples because Meryl Streep got up and said they were bad for me, nor put on my short skirt and grab my Pom Poms just because Oprah said Obama actually had the experience and brains to be a good President. They're actors for heaven's sake, not imbued with any great knowledge or judgment. I also don't believe any of these churches and religions should be tax exempt. That has been the product of some pretty adroit lobbying over the years. Somewhere between the "get somes" and the "have nots", the rest of us just try to get through life without having the despicable, lying bastards in our government screw around with us too much. But the tenets of this pseudo-religion stretch credibility way past the breaking point. How smart do you have to be to sit down, read about what they preach and then decide to pass by that one, walking briskly and whistling loudly?

I am not sure what this has to do with president Barack Obama ,you and other followers of the so called political entertainers ,should take head from this it show that sometimes no matter how intelligent one is ,or how intelligent one thinks they are . They can be easily led to follow a path that does not make sense. Such as your path of hate against this president .If you compare his short presidency to that of the one of deceit ,death and debt, left by George Bush.I would be willing to bet that you would still see George W Bush as a successful president. You will also not be able to ever find any works done by Barrack Obama as done well. You are my friend brainwashed.

I thought it was weird at the end of your almost incomprehensible rant that you accused Habeas of being brainwashed. While on the other hand you immediate turn to defending a public icon while at the same time, capitalizing HIS name and not the highest office in the United States. Everything you just wrote, sounds regurgitated from mainstream media articles, and brainless obama sheeple who got fooled into voting for an actor instead of real change. I am in no way supporting George W. Bush. I believe the majority of politians in washington have forgotten who they work for. In all honestly, and unbiased perspective. You my friend are 100% textbook BrAiNwAsHeD.

          Get off your high horses:

For $10 and at times even less I can watch these hollywood celebrities sing, dance, prance and do odd things that I personally will be hard up to copy or do. Most of their stunts are done by others. Sure, they can act but as I said they are worth $10 or even less at times. To me, they can act but to go further than that and claim that their status brings them to a stature of respect and admiration such that I would consider their utterances as proof of a divine revelation would bring me to a level lower than a moron. Sure, they earn millions and admittedly I am part of the contributors but that is because I want to be entertained. That is what they are, a figure for entertainment nothing else. I refuse to lower myself. I have my own convictions, my own sanity and self respect. I wish more of the scientology people will wake up and look at themselves then look at the mirror and say with conviction that they are their own men/women and not just a bunch of marionette controlled by strings operated by others whose main concerns is to forward their own self interest. So, people WAKE UP and perhaps become part of society with all its misfortunes, misgivings, trials and tribulations and not run away from it by becoming marionettes with no self respect at all.

I can stand people's unquestionable loyality to a President. It scares the hell out of me.

Wonderful pyramid scheme for the rich to get fleeced. Probably end up as a Jonestown.

Remarks about Scientology have morphed into back and forth accusations about

brainwashing and politics. To say that someone who supports a politcal party or a

certain political office holder is "brainwashed" is probably not the best choice of words. I

see the majority of loyal party members as higly partisan. Is that the same as being

brainwashed? We had so much government waste and stimulous plans such as the

tax refund and then the bail out under President Bush. No one marched. But let a

substantial majority vote that party out of power and people take to the streets and

decry government spending. It seems more partisan than principled. This ability to

be forgiving when your guy does wrong and incensed when you think the guy supported

by the other "team" may be doing some of the same is very worrisome to me. It seems

we favor personalities over principles. But back to Scientology: I hope those opposing it

succeed in diminishing the influence of this sect.
